i really can’t believe how fast time flies sometimes. can you? people (including myself) say it all the time and i never really stop to actually think about how true it is. especially at this stage of my life. i’m a mom. i have 2 kids…count ‘em, one..two! (insert scream) the days go by so fast with all the diaper changes, hugs, kisses, picking up toys, rocking, playing, singing, picking up toys, cooking, laughing, have i mentioned picking up toys yet? seriously, it can get out of control and those are just the weekdays..the weekends when the hubs is home is a whole ‘nuther story. love him!
i find myself getting lost in the day and all the tasks of trying to keep everyone happy and forget to take pictures.
yes, i FORGET to take pictures of my own family! “but isn’t that what you DO?!” you may ask. it’s sad, isn’t it? i will say that, if it wasn’t for my iphone, i would have hardly ANY pics of my girls doing the day-to-day things that make me smile and laugh. things that i never ever want to forget.
my baby is already 3 months old. seriously..how did that happen? she’s the cutest thing that i’ve ever seen (besides her big sissy, of course). she is constantly smiling. she shows all her gums and her eyes get all squinty. i call her my little “mini-me” cause i see myself soooo much in her face. it’s kinda scary, actually!
i’ve decided to keep my ‘good’ camera out and easily accessible from now on.
it’s the only way, i know of, to make time stand still.
