Emma :: Pompano Beach Children’s Photographer

Do you remember what your life was like when you were twelve years old? All I remember are days consumed with school work, cheerleading, church youth group, learning how to play volleyball and wondering if the cute guy in my class noticed me. I didn’t think too much about the fact that there are children in other countries that don’t get to go to school and get a solid Christian education due to devastation and poverty.

Emma is a twelve year old with an incredible heart for others. Her heart is so big, that she has started her very own non-profit called Emmazing Grace. Emma writes:

“In 2010, Haiti had a devastating earthquake. Life was difficult before, but then became even worse. As I watched a program about the earthquake, God stirred my heart to help make a difference. In a nation as devastated as Haiti, it is difficult to decide where to begin to offer help. Education is the key to helping this next generation of kids have brighter lives. School is a rare privilege and an impossible dream to many Haitian children. So, this is where I have decided to help give hope to as many kids as I can.  Emmazing Grace is a Not-for-Profit organization which was started to help give kids in Haiti a brighter life.”

As of today, she has already raised enough money through her paintings, to help 7 children go to school full time. WHOOHOO!

I am blessed beyond measure to know this sweet girl and humbled to be a small part in her journey, by photographing her. I want my girls to be JUST LIKE HER when they grow up!
