And baby makes 5

I’m pretty sure it’s the fact that this sweet family has trusted me to photograph all their amazing milestones…engagement, wedding, the birth of all 3 gorgeous girls and some family shots in between, that makes me all teary-eyed. What a privilege to watch them grow in so much love and respect for each other. I’ve been in the photography business now for almost 7 years and I just can’t believe how many awesome people I’ve met and who have welcomed me into their lives to take pictures. SO MUCH FUN! I love what I do, ya’ll…I really really do!

4 People 12 Times :: October

4people12times_10

So, I’m well aware that I’m just NOW posting this and it’s half way into November, but we’ve had so much going on. My clients are my priority right now as this is my ‘busy’ season with Holiday mini sessions that need to be edited and delivered. I love it…such a privilege to take pictures for the sweetest families EVER!:)

In October my husband’s country was playing in some World Cup qualifiers match and he was SO excited to watch it and we loved putting his jerseys on and being excited with him. Vamos Ecuador!!

Then, how can I not show some pictures of the girls on Halloween. I was all excited that they were going to dress up as Little Bo Peep and Little Red Riding Hood, so I took them out for a 10 minute shoot and got these photos….

Unfortunately, they didn’t actually wear these costumes to our church’s Harvest Fest event that night…they wanted to be princesses…naturally! It’s all good, they have my heart!

Well, I’ll be back posting soon, but I’ll leave you with a couple fun photos from my cousin’s wedding that I shot last week. Oh, I don’t normally shoot weddings, but if you’re in my family, I will most definitely make an exception ๐Ÿ˜‰ Aren’t those the most adorable flower girls and ring bearers you’ve ever seen? I’m so in love!!

Brothers :: Children’s Photographer :: Lighthouse Point, FL

A friend of mine asked if I’d be willing to take some photos of her adorable 18 month old. Knowing that I would be able to shoot at their beautiful house and that I would have the freedom to do more of a ‘day in the life’ type of shoot, I was so excited. I love love LOVE lifestyle sessions at home. So many times I wish I had someone follow me around in the day to day things I do with my family and take pictures, because I don’t ever want to forget how I felt during this time of my life. I love that these boys are just hanging out in their room together, I love that this little guy carries a baby all around the house, I love that they play in the pool every day, I love that these memories are now preserved for my friend to look back on years from now. I hope she’ll remember how little they were when they tried on their daddy’s shoes and hugged and kissed each other while reading books together.

I love these photos so much! ๐Ÿ˜‰

2013 Holiday Mini-Sessions :: Sarah Cardenas Photography

Yes, it’s that time of year…again…to start planning on how you want your Holiday card photo to look. I have to say that I love getting actual photos (not just digital ones) from my friends and family in the mail. I love to hang them up in my kitchen because looking at them makes me smile…seriously!

I’ve decided to offer 20 minute photo sessions for those of you that just want a handful of fun photos to put on a card and send in the mail. I’m including a wall print ($65 value) in my special because how many times do you get awesome photos of your family and they just stay on your computer and you kind of forget about them? Well maybe that’s just me…SO guilty of not printing out enough photos. I want to give you a print so you can (maybe) put it in a nice frame and display it in your house…or even a Christmas themed frame and take it out each year during the Holidays. I love doing that! Whatever you choose to do, I know you won’t regret having a nice print of your family, right? ๐Ÿ˜‰

One of my dates already filled up, so I have two dates available at Harbor’s Edge Park in Pompano Beach, October 12 and November 9. Send me an email as soon as you can, because space is limited and are on a first come first serve basis.

Looking forward to hanging out with you during your session!
xoxoxo,
S
